The Organising Committee of the XXIIFIAMC CONGRESS, invites you to submit
abstracts for oral communications or posters.

General Guidelines
- Deadline for submitting Abstracts: January 30th 2006.
- Abstracts submitted must be original papers, not previously
published, nor presented in any other Congress.
- Abstracts must be submitted exclusively online through the official
web site form: www.fiamcbarcelona2006.org stracts received through any
other method will not be accepted.
- At least one of the authors must be registered for the Congress when
sending the abstract. A limit of 3 abstracts may be sent for each
registered author. In the case that the submitted abstract is not
accepted for presentation, you must contact the Technical Secretariat
before March 30th 2006 in order to receive the refund of 90% of the
registration fee.
- The results of the abstract selection process will be sent via e-mail
by February 28th 2006. Information on the presentation format designated
for your abstract (oral communication or poster) and guidelines for
preparing presentations will be included as well as the date and place
of presentation.
Instructions for abstract submission
- Abstracts may be submitted either in English, French or Spanish.
- The Title should be written in capital letters. Lower case should be
used for: a) Authors’ names (Last name followed by the initial of the
first name, without using periods. There is a maximum of 6 authors, with
names being separated by comas). b) Name of Institution (only 1
permitted) and e-mail. Do not include any academic titles (see the
example).
- Abstracts should not be more than 250 words. Longer abstracts will
not be accepted. Abstracts must be structured in the following sections:
Objectives, Material and Methods, Results and Conclusions. Do not
include references.
- Each section must begin as a new paragraph. Do not leave blank
spaces before new paragraphs. Abbreviations should be defined the first
time the term appears.
- Do not include figures or tables.
- The authors should indicate presentation preferences (oral
communication or poster format).
- Modifications in the abstract are not allowed once the abstract has
been submitted.
